What is the APN ?

The APN, or Assessor Parcel Number, is the specific number for a piece of property which the Assessor uses to identify a parcel of land. This is a part of the legal description, however, attempting to record a Deed with solely the APN or street address might cause the Assessor to have you re-record the deed with the full legal description.
